I fitted myself one of the towbars from p and l minis which have an extesion on them making them a stronger, sturdier fit. The bike rack itself is this one ..... http://www.halfords....tegoryId_165477

Nice minis
How do you find the bike rack on journeys? Is it pretty secure?

Yeh it's rather secure in terms of staying there, I've been to wales and back with it and three bikes attached from sheffield and it held up fine. I use it probably once a week and has never let me down. I wouldn't like to use it with a towbar that only fixes to the subframe however. Due to it putting more stress on it than say a trailer. But otherwise with my towbar it is all hunky dorey

Hmmm interesting, I was looking to mount one on the roof, but to be honest don't I fancy the thought of my other pride and joy falling off.
Cheers
Oh, by the way what bikes have you got?

Nice I'm more into mountain biking, but I'm still amazed at the skill of trials riders. How long have you been riding?

Probably about 3 years now, I also have a dabble in moto trials too. How about yourself?

About the same, I used to ride before but got more serious and properly kitted out about three to four years ago. Still don't like riding in winter though .

The Clubbie hasn't been registered since 1990 so it doesn't look promising. But it could be stored somewhere or being restored as we speak.

Oh dear that's a mighty big shame, Is there anyway that I could find out exactly where its whereabouts are?? I'd really like to find out.
I'd love to bring it back to life, I think my dad would be a little bit happy if i suprised him like that
