few questions...
can i see your seat frames please? (piccy)
whats the gap like between your seats?
love the carbs!!.. really love'em!.. whats the little black knob thing (from the angle of the pic) sitting on top of the wiper motor?
do you still have your heater matrix plumbed in? (as i cant see the pipe work)
and.... did you make your own grille?
Lester... still lovin the carbs!

Frames for seats are the ford ones modified with mini from brackets welded to them with steel tubes at the rear to level them, they are then bolted through the floor
Gap between them , eeerm SMALL , just get your hand in for handbrake
Black knob is idle adjust on the carbs
Yes heater plumbed in , used a later inline heater valve and made up the pipes ,will post pics later

front seat bracket is mini one cut straight at the top and welded to puma frame
rear is tube with coach bolt through it
as for the heater it has straight coupling on the left of the head where origional heater valve was, off this I have a hose that connects to a pipe that runs along the back of the head
this joins up to a later type bottom hose with a T piece , the T then connects to the return from the heater
then I have a later type mini sandwich thermostat housing , the pipe from the sandwich plate feeds the heater , in this pipe is the later type heater valve
Oh and yes I made my own grill , its a 5mm plastic sheet used for sign making , cut to shape and then mess fixed to the back of it and screwed in place
Hope this helps

now i intend on making my own when i get mine back and was thinking something like perferated ali with a black rubber surround (for finish) and maybe a ram air funnel/pipe in it going back to the carb... but thas just me...
Be careful not to restrict airflow , mini's don't have the best cooling as it is
