it is an auto plas dash but has a glove box area on the left hand side which will come in handy I guess

 

Ahh right so i presume that was an option then haha i,ve no idea on it to be honest but like the idea of a storage space behind the wheel for stuff.

Mine looks like this:

Needs attention though..

 

Shouldn't be long till you're up nd running now! wish i was at the prep stage, although i understand its a boring proccess

yh shouldn't be long going to be prepping again soon then hopefully get it sprayed end of next month or early the month after then will start putting in all my goodies :) then got the 1275 to rebuild over winter

also found this paint colour on a website which i have forgotten which i might use on the roof as i think it might go well with the flame red i am spraying it as well

any way will be doing more over the weekend

Right just had a bit of encouragement from good man lucasamps haha he just droped of a very lovely roof rack that will have a spare wheel and jerry can on it or might put a jet fuel can on it that I got
and obe with the mrk 1 grill

Right prep work has all gone to pooop now as my dad is going to be selling the house soon which mean I can only store stuff and not make a mess in the garage now.............. Organized mess........ Anyway so all is pooop hahaha in the mean time I have bought another mini..... Ones just not enough.... Gave a grand price of 150 for it woop woop its an mot failure so easy fixes. Will be speaking to the family friend who going to paint it for me if I can drop it round and he finish the prep on it. I need to take some holiday at work as well soon so should be ablevto spend a week helping and get it done then bolt shiny bits back on it as we all love shiny bits hhaa. Right time to go clean the garage

Right did a bit of tidying today in the garage managed to get the mini runnibg after a while had a weak spark because of a dirty fuse box spade conection..... Rusty..... Ran nicely. Hopefuly will speak to family friend tomorrow and see about getting it around his place to get some paint on it...

Right spoke to the family friend today after work and had a good old chat with him and have got it booked in the last week of Feb so I'm going to strip it down a little e.g. Seats glass and what not and get it ready to go round his. Also going to be booking the week off so can go round and give him a hand doing it. Might chat with him about renting some space from him..... And doing some jobs for him.... Just maybe we will see. And way just thought I would update

a bit of an update.... the family friend was ill last week so has pushed his jobs in to this week.... all is ok tho as its going in next week.. I have booked the week off work ready to give him a hand.... im going to be the body shop b***h for the week haha. striped the car down again but will be stone chipping the boot and floors inside. I will stone chip the engine bay later on again when the 1275 is all build up... probably around next Christmas when its off the road again. it still needs prep work to the body but that will be done at the body shop now..... here some pics of it all striped down apart from the door handles.

I did have another but its a rubbish photo so cba to upload it....

will update soon hopefully with a painted mini next week

right, finally got the mini round to the body shop after a rubbish Monday haha couldn't get it over during the day. any way I got it over to the body shop late Monday night and made a start on it today, manage to get high build primer on it and gave it a quick guide coat of some left over paint he had. only managed to get three snaps after I had sprayed it.  

 

right will be wet sanding it back down tomorrow and soon will be putting paint on it :)

I haven't put primmer the roof as when the red is sprayed we are going to use that as the guide coat to sand down which helps save paint

right time for an update been a week of hell............ had paint react after paint reaction after paint reaction on different parts of the car sorted most of them now but new ones have started now arrrrrrrr thinking of using a barcoat if that's what it is call to put a barrier down to stop the reactions any way lots of photos for you lot

 

 

that should be enough photos haha

right time to look in to bar coat I think hahah I hate painting now arrrr

hopefully getting there
