Im glad my thread didnt lose anything after that hack. Feel sorry for people whos threads did get damaged in the proccess. Right I still havnt done any more mini as normal all my a levels are taking all my time away with teachers telling you that their subject is important than the others and should spend all your time working on that subject. Bla bla bla boring I just want to be free of my a levels now. well after the 15th june which is my last exam yay, the mini will be getting all my concentration to get it finished and be put on the road just a few big bits.left to do now the can start rebuilding it with all the new parts
Any way

right i think i have gone a bit mental as gone and got myself a bmw k100 engine for next to nothing. im not going to be converting this engine to it i will be keep it and doing it on a spare engine that my friend has or i will be keep it and using it as a collage project when i start in September after finishing my a levels. when it is finished i will probs put it in this mini and get some good fast fun out of it :)

well nothing much has been done on the mini and to help with the progress my saxo has made its mind up to pack up yay, started where i went round mates house picked up his spare 998 to help rebuild mine, set off back in to weston and got about 5 miles down the road stopped at some traffic light and just cut out and will not start again so waited for 2 hours for my mum to come and give me a tow all the way home, crapped myself not have a servo working tho :s not going into sixth form tomorrow going to work at home pop down and see my mums friend and borrow his 16pin code reader to see whats up. and also for bad luck my mate who i was with mini brakes failed on him driving to work so i think he had the bad luck and made my car to stop working lol
will try and get some more mini done soon as its so much cooler and cheaper and easier to work on and more fun to drive
getting through the hard times

more Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image and that is all so far. and through all that my angle grinder blew up so rebuilt it with new bushes that came with it, it then blew up again after about 10 min so went out and got a 1000w one which is amazing. also ran out of welding wire so got a 5kg roll and another gas bottle but need to get a big one when I can afford it :) which mean I can then weld hours on end. also needed to get some more welding tips so I got some but the threads were to small so then got some that fitted and carried on welding after a week of looking for tips that will fit. welding on Jordan also if any one has advice on the arch would help a lot. I don't want to replace the whole arch so might see if I can just get the bit that has rusted out and leave the bit in where the shock mounts
