Hey, great work on you mini, I would love to have the space to sort the rust out on mine! :D

Just noticed on your engine block, has it been pocketed for a different head? (the little groves out of the edges of the bores)

right havnt updates thread in a while and it is beaucse i am on the road in a sexy saxo in gold i know it sounds bad but cost me 200 with brand new mot and tax so cant complain with that. have done some more work but ran out of welding wire so will have to go pick so more up soon as i can. got m8s discount card so saves me a bit of money. also lucas1amp has been sanding down the roof ready for paint and the rear quaters. i might do a vinyl roof with some pattan on it so roof will only be getting a primer and a lite top coat.
any way welding on

Lucas you are doing a grand job, one word of advise don't weld on or close to old welds, just cut it out and weld on a bigger piece, ;D
