Hi, i have moved to canada and its easier and cheaper for me to buy a T25 from a 200sx than a t2 R5 gt. Is the T25 a bigger turbo ie more lag and tighter in the engine bay?. Ill be fitting mirage manifolds to save myself cutting the fire wall. Its only a 998 so dont want the revs to be real high when the turbo kicks in.

Thanks

Looks like it might be a bit on the big side. T2 & T25 are just model names, each will come in many variants for particular applications. Have a look on Garret's site, it will help to understand a bit about things like A/R ratio & Trim. At it's simplest, it's power output of the engine to look at, as that's directly related to the volume of air the turbo has to shift.

MG Metro Turbocharger
Model No. TBO329
Part No. 466564-0002
Turbine Trim - 69 Turbine A/R 0.25
Compressor Trim - 40 Compressor A/R 0.42

The Renault 5 T2 had exhaust A/R of 0.35 with a 50 trim compressor.

You want to be in the same ballpark as these.
