Well, having discussed it with the missus, she is happy to drive our van and sell her car, so I'll be getting an S2000. But as I'm off to afghan in a few weeks, will be buying it when I get back. Getting an S2k doesmean that I'll no longer be able to afford the triumph street triple R I was going to buy. Which is probably for the best as I'd probably have ended up dead. Pic will be posted up when we buy

Tour bonus and tax free wages? Is this a new thing?
We do get an op bonus but not tax free wages. The op bonus is pretty much our tax back, for serving in a dangerous place ( used to get it in Iraq as well, but not places like the Falklands, quatar or Oman).
It's exactly the same bonus as is now being given to those serving in Italy and living in hotels, that are there in support of the Lybia thing. Like they need a bonus for going to Italy for the summer???
