I was going to get a EP3 until i worked out it wouldn't be the best thing for my pocket but i defiantly would get one if i could, so i went for a civic coupe vti that my mate was selling. I did have a EJ9 civic before but that was hammered.

My EM1

At the moment it has AEM short ram airfilter, D2 LCA's, stainless catback, eibatch pro lowering springs.

Need to change the alloys when i can afford to but they will just have to do at the moment till i get some rota slipstreams.

That looks pretty sweet.
A mate is telling me I ought to go for the FD2, which is the latest JDM civic type R, just they are much more expensive.
Guess so long as I stick to my plan and don't drive about wearing a baseball cap, I should be ok.
Just need to arrange a test drive now. Model I'm looking at is the premier edition, it's the end of the line model with a few little extras :o

I keep looking at EGs, keeping it 'unchavy' if i can. Plans for it would be lowered, alloys, an exhaust, not chavy just functional, and finally an induction kit, if it doesn't create masses of noise. Lovely.

Lets face it, any car can be 'chavvved' but I don't think the EP3 is considered a chav status yet? well, stick some hoooooge bodykits on it and a fake dump valve on a NA and then maybe

FN is for old people (much older than yourself) go EP!

Mate had an EP3 thats what got me into hondas, theres nothing wow about them, they just work, simples

Definitely go EP3

here is my mates

looks standard but underneath it isn't.

RBC 'Accord' inlet manifold
Gruppe M Airbox
4 branch manifold and sports cat
Spoon N1 exhaust
Remap by Eurospec 2000
Eibach springs developed for the EP3
JDM rear ARB
TGM Sport 4 wheel alignment

Its making around 240bhp hits the limiter at 9k and is just as quick as my mates Mitsubishi Evo 6. It is one truly epic car!

Honda's are all old and boring granny cars. Just buy a Lancia Delta Turbo, Jeez

My eyes are sore with boring cars...

Hondas, fords, vauxhalls all past the ages of 2000 are boring :o

Honda's Type R cars are all awesome and riots to drive. Just buy an EP3 and be done with it, Jeez

My eyes are sore with boring cars, ie 2000 onwards Fords and any vauxhall ever made, bar a 1924 30/98 :)

Edited for clarity :P

Mmmmm, lancia Delta Integrale. Now that'd be a perfect daily driver. I mean, turboengine for short trips to the shops and stuck in traffic jams on the M6. Oh, don't be forgetting the bullet proof gearboxes :)

truly amazing motor, but if I owned one, it'd certainly not be a daily. Could you imagine how paranoid I'd be leaving parked in public car parks???????

Well to be honest, speed limit is 70mph. so whats the point? :)

Unless you like germany then fine haha

I dont see the point on spending money on an "average" car, it will only get beaten up

worrying about scratching your new "rims" or new paint and worrying if your mods will blow your engine

Im 21 and never had the urge to mod a car that is anything new ish, just a waste of time and money and you will never get your money back and id rather save up for a decent motor, just like a delta or an old jaguar

Its not "hip" but you'll be laughing at the money you will get for the car in the future.

I LOVE cars dont get me wrong, i just dont see the point in spending money on something basically pointless.

Ahh well, your money and life do what you want with it

but i wont hand you a tissue when my GTR storms your "Tronda" and makes you cry knowing that i made no mods to it to make it go FAST :P

Anyway PEACEEE

Point taken, but realistically when will you be getting a £50k GTR?
I go to Germany regularly, cause I have a little boy out there :)

luckily i haven't spent a penny on mods to my civic because my mate did them when he had the car haha, as for selling it that doesn't bother me because i got mine at a bargain price.

haha when you can afford a GTR+insurance most people will have already had there fun with 2-3 cars, enjoying it is the main thing not saving up all your life for it. :)

Ive been driving for two years and already had 7 cars

i wont be actually buying a gtr and saving up for a car, my next car will either be a ford capri or a mx5 :P

I just like having a little banter :P

its like with all cars, take subaru's for example. love to own one but such a massive "chav" "idiot" name to the drivers of them

I dont think you can enjoy a car as much when idiots drive them and you get dirty looks.

trust me i do like honda's, i just like messing around. It would have to a be a special honda though
