Chav Cars

Car in question is the Honda civic type R EP3, or sometimes known as the breadvan.
I will modify, mugen twin loop exhaust and induction, Tein coilovers, Brembo brakes and poly bushes with uprated ARB's. May go on to do more engine/ecu mod's, but honda's are very expensive to get power/torque from without going forced induction.
Car will be a daily runner, but also intend on getting dome track days in. No body mods planned whatsoever.
At 35 will I look like a chav? Missus prefers the newer type r civic (fn2), but it just doesn't appeal to me as much.

You make a car how you want to make it. Your right about Hondas though, everythings expensive but for a good reason, they never go wrong! They are not known for making bags to torque neither, they can produce good HP figures, but they do like to be revved.
Ep3's dont get much of a look in on the Honda scene IMO, it seems that most people go for EF's/EG'S/EK'S (mine). The aftermarket parts catalogue is bigger for these shapes.

used to have a JDM DC2 ITR with exact same mods. It was awsome fun to drive, but they're all at least 11 years old now, and have a massive rear spoiler, which to the unknowledgable, looks Chav.

we all have bit of chav in us, as we all in the mini scene, modify our cars different exhaust engine mods etc etc just not to the extremes of certain make n model of other carsChav-o-meter for me is how loud the exhaust is. Loud pipes = absolute chav! I have an exemption rule for classic cars though!

Would love an S2k, but we need back seats for the dogs.
Cheers for the replies. Looking at getting it in grey.

Sadly, it's possible to make a Mini be considered "chav" if you try hard enough. I've seen it!

The EP shape civic is also nice to mod, and seeing as the cost of them is fairly high, you dont get any council estate hoodies driving them and there mostly driven by middle aged lads, if you know what im saying

..or you'll look like a UFO!as long as you dont fit neons underneath lol
no badly fitted far to bright HID kit fitting either.. as the car might be subtle but the moment you blaze those light in someones rear view mirrors... (bloody chavs... grumble grumble...)
