Andy replaced a sill and repaired my flitch panel, bootfloor and a couple of other bits and i can say that he is very good value for money.
made a good job of the repairs, was a lot cheaper than a garage, it was very convenient with him coming to me, and he is a nice bloke who is easy to talk about minis and is obviously enthusiastic about minis.
I highly reccomend this if you are a mini owner and can't weld. it is such a great service!

Hi.
Mobile welding and repairs business for classic cars. Minis inparticular but other classics too.
Come to your house to work on your car.
Much of my work is people restoring their cars in their garage and they need some welding doing. Its easier than trying to get the car to a garage. Plus they charge through the roof.
Im not afraid to take on bigger jobs. Recently went to a job in Blackburn (173 miles from me) for a '63' MGB. was there for 6 days replacing both sills (4 parts each), the floor, rear quarters, etc. A total restoration. The guy brought it not realising it was so bad. I think most of us have been there!!
I have restored a few minis too. Putting in a Rover K series in my mini at the moment. Toying with the idea though of taking that out and dropping in a four wheel drive honda vtec or front engine/rear wheel drive bike engine.
Very reasonable prices and quality work for your pride and joy.

2 days hard work by Andy cost me £400. With a 90 minute journey each way for him both days.
Nice guy and fantastic job, could not be happier with it. He really knows what he is doing.
