I'm going to install a 200amp breaker in mine, it will do the same thing but will add a level of 'short' protection.

Would you have to go in the boot to cut the battery with that?, and remove any covering items from the battery?The problem with the stock alarm is that it eats the battery. Even with huge Deep Cycle unit I have, I found that 3 weeks of no running and it is close to dead.

Where as a breaker could be installed on the floor under the driver seat or rear bin etc.

Lol I haven't done it yet!
Not seen any others done with a breaker.
