Well I have the mini and picks to prove it can be done, not bad for a jobless no hoper like myself.
And it only cost…
Roller and tray, £2.35
5 roller heads, £1.79
Half-inch paintbrush, £1.50
White sprit, £2.90
1L tin of paint, £12.48
Total, £21.02
And best of all it will only get better once its been polished.

Your probably right on that one, just get so frustrating, especially when one place I tried recently seamed to think I would be better off stacking shelves in tescos. (no offence intended to anyone)Good job man..... "Jobless no hoper" bit harsh on your self dude.
I still have the front end to prep and paint, just taking a while as I’m doing it all by hand and it’s a bit sore on the old arms after a while.

Will do when the front screens back in and the weather doesn’t decide to chuck it down every five minuets.Roll it out the garage and get some proper pics? But what was the paint like before?

The car was still wearing its original metallic grey paintwork, witch was sound, but just about every panel but the roof has had to be welded to some extent. So the whole car bar the roof has been primed with red oxide as and when the repairs were being done. Its only now after finial block sanding and getting it to the point I’m happy with, have I rolled the colour on.
But even then the only prep work I’ve done is block sanding with 120 and flatting the primer off with 800 wet and dry.

As for working at tesco, nothing wrong with that. If you have anything about you, you can work your way up through tesco to management, they will give you excellent training and very worthwhile experience.
Great paint job by the way.

Looks really good does that. Was it Rustoleum that you used?
Someone was asking about Rustoleum on here a few days ago and I posted a link to a VW van forum where they roller paint their vans with brilliant results. Here you go:

I think Bungle has done the same with his VW camper.
