Hi , thought I would put up some pics of a install I have been doing for a friend . Car is a mini 30
first up made some door builds , 12mm base and baffle with 12mm dowel rods hot glued in place to give the basic framework
I used 6mm threaded inserts to mount these to the freshly trimmed door cards I had just finished
then they were covered in fabric ready for resin
after 3 coats of resin and a sand down they looked like this and were plenty solid
we chose a fabric finish to contrast against the vinyl
test fit after wadding was put in
and finally fitted in car

Next came the sub box , pioneer sub ( can't remember model ) box made from 18mm mdf , all joints sealed , glue and screwed, trimmed in black carpet
amp is a 4 channel pioneer running front and sub , this is mounted in the spare wheel well ( sorry no pics )
my mate retrimed the dash in black vinyl and fitted a pioneer deh6300 headunit
system sounds very nice but as always my mate wants more so work is underway to make it bigger and better watch this space !!!!

Looks good. Good skills on the door pods too One question though, where is the box for the sub & what volume is it? (I can't really tell from the pics)

Nice build, looks clean.
Really great to see another nice install in a 30.
Questions:
Where are is the amp/s ?
Where are the tweaters mounted? Dash? A-pillers??

Thanks ruckus , we are both really pleased but still a wip really tweeters are in the top of the door card , these will change to custom angle pods but didn't get time to this before my mates mini show . And only running one amp at the minute and that's mounted in the spare wheel well
