hi, im sorry this is off topic.... but im i a bit off bother, next saturday the 2nd me and wife are off to see the foo fighters at the bowl, its a good 2 hours drive for us our problem is with parking... firstly we have never been there, and secondly we have heard of stories of people taking 4 hours to get off the car park... we need to get home as soon as posiible as my elderley parents are looking after our young family, so turning back home at 6 in the morning probably wouldnt go down too well.. my question is does anyone live near the bowl with a big drive lol, or can anyone give us some ideas where to park, we dont mind grabbing a taxi to get closer, we just need to get away sharpish at the end....
please help....
cheers all
andy & rach..

You can park at Milton Keynes Train Station and walk, it's about a mile and takes about twenty minutes or so. If you turn right out of the station, walk for about 50 yards then turn right again and take the footbridge over the railway line, you'll find a pedestrian/cycleway called 'Leisure Route 51' and it's signposted to the Bowl from there (this is the route that all the concert goers that come by rail tend to use). If you don't fancy the walk you can always get a cab from the cab rank outside the station instead. :)

Hope This Helps

EDIT: Oh and if the train station car parks are full (which they may well be with a big gig on at the bowl) some of the Central Milton Keynes car parks are only a few minutes walk away from the station. Download a Car Parking Map Here
