C reg maestro van, 1275, low mileage, spotlights, rev counter, 3 speed heater with looooads of settings, dimmable dash lights, & even remote locking It's quite simply the definition of luxuory
Set me back £350 with MOT & tax, only down side is that's it's currently a 3 cylinder!
Some more pics for you -
I was hoping it was valve seats due to the PO's lack of lead additive. I whipped the head off this afternoon & the cause of the 3 cylinderness became quite apparant -

looks like its had a small case of detonation, lol, is it a mini engine? or one similar to a midget? to me it looks like an a plus non-transverse (too tired to remember proper name), due to the position of the oil filter.
i like it though, and its even got roof bars *flaps arms in excitement*!

I've used a number of meastro blocks to build engines for minis.
I'd be tempted to take the whole unit out and replace with something a little more modern and diesel. Not like you're short of room...

The reason I got it is that I'm insured on my old man's trade policy this year but they've restricted me to 1.6 for the first year, I would have liked perkins diesel one. Not sure why it's still listed, the chap was quite old & didn't really seem to understand ebay, I'll drop him a message & tell him he needs to end it.
I'm just going to take the sump off, get that piston out, give the bore a quick hone & stick another rod & piston in.

What's the grot like? They sometimes go around the 'screen and I've had to repair the rear of the sills before.
I reckon that colour was special order- very unusual to have a metalic van in the mid 80s! (if it is metalic)

Very nice Josh The bloke I work with loves these, has three at the moment. If you do have a hankering to swap for the Perkins diesel, you won't be disappointed- they're super-economic and go forever. Think Woodgate had a few kicking about last time I was there.

Cheers Boycie, I love it, handy to know woodgaets have some. Rot wise it's pretty darn good, the scuttle is fine & the sills are like new really, still the proper colour not underseal Couple of scabs on the rear doors but I'll treat them somethime. Yeah it is metalic , top of the range you see!
