There's usually a big car park leading up to bingley!! Either get there early or late, only way to avoid the queues!1

Finally, back on his wheels..

Had a few snags, a terminal snapped off the starter solenoid and had to get a new one.

Also the alternator is now noisy, despite it being fine when i removed it(go figure!!). Its still charging and I'll get one at the show.

Plan for tomorrow..

Set ride height.

Set tracking..

Sort seats.

Buy beer!!!!

See you at Bingley!!

Excellent, ready to roll tmr afternoon by the looks of it,.....I do like when plans come toghether,.........however.....................

I am not so sure if it get mine rolling,....I have got a few serious ignition wiring isseues to deal with tmr, juddering and loosing power over 4000refs,, can't get passed 50mph in 4.
Fueling, timing, coil, points condensor, all good, feed of +14V from solinoid via ignition switch going in dizzy , idle (1000rpm) pulls 6V to condensor and points, when increasing revs starts to judder over 4000rpm feels like don't get enough power trough wires, spark between in points getting weaker in strenght. so there must be a leak somewhere,......

If theres a leak in the inlet, you can check using wd40!!

Let the engine idle and spray wd40 arounf the inlet manifold, if the revs pick up then its sucking the wd40 into the engine!!

Cheers, I have replaced the earth wire in the old dizzy tnight(old one was f++++k), and that do make a little change for the better,
I will have a go with the wd40 that would be an easyer 'repair' with a few new gaskets, when driving today I have pulled out the chocke a bit when juddering was happening, and that did get rid of the juddering, but I do know the carb is set perfectly and so is the timing, valves are all set at 12/13 thou,...the whole situation is just bloody annoying

Try a thicker oil, the thicker it is the richer it will run under acceleration. Stick some engine oil in a try that.
