Yeah they sit a bit taller than standards, with hi-los yes you can get the shock on, with the factory standard trumpet I wouldn't have thought so and sounds like you've answered that
These will feel a bit different to standard cones so not sure what you got on the front, if your fronts are used/relativity worn these would make the back end of your car quite harsh, might feel a bit interesting out on the road

Might be better off changing them for genuine standards

No. the red dot is on the inside surface of the cone. I am satisfied now that the cones are good ones and the car is sitting good now
Good to hear.
I have a similar set of Valley Rubber cones (as yet not fitted) stamped with the original patent number. They, too, have a red dot on the inside surface. They were ordered and invoiced as part no. FAM3968, so I assume they are standard springs.
This red dot business is rather confusing. If Simon (from Mini Spares) is reading this, maybe he can shed some light on why both standard and competition springs (C-STR687) have a red dot, albeit in different places.

Unsure, I'll speak to the FAM3968 manufacturers to make sure its removed.

Many thanks for the response, Simon.
