selling the cti on next year, should make a tidy profit.

either sort the rust out on the mini for the MOT and run it looking ratty for a whole or take it off the road totally and do a full restoration.

miss driving it tho so leaning towards getting a fresh mot on

205 is now for sale, bought a clio 182 and waiting for the 205 to sell the plough the money into they mini

Its beyond just a tidy up, that was the initial plan... 

Front end, flitch and hinge panel repairs and scuttle repairs.

and rear hinge panel needs doing and little bits here and there such as the rear and side window channels.

 

Hopefully get my dads friend to do the welding in the garage, and then have it sprayed inside and out in smoke grey or s similar retro colour

really enjoyed reading this mate.

 

Nice to see a Mini being used as everyday transport and good to hear about the maintenance that goes with it.

 

Shame it got to the point where you needed to take it off the road but it sounds like you will have it back where it belongs in no time.

 

Good luck with the rebuild. look forward to seeing it.
