Take it you did the speedo conversion? How hard/easy was it? Also what about the speedo cable?

i havent wired it in as yet as the loom is still out of the car, i have the conversion from minispares ready to wire it in, so will let you know in time

Okay thanks, was thinking of doing it myself sometime but I thought I read when you move it to the center you need to replace the speedo cable with a longer one, and I always thought that was a pain with the engine in the car haha

well we will both have to see,thought i would need a shorter cable as the unit it moved closer to the nearside, lucky thing is i work at a motor factor so it should make up matching the correct cable a bit easier

Thanks Im pushing to get it finished now, Ive got a list to go through before im happy to send it to paint. The sill is now on and the front floor is painted. Will start cutting the front arch monday

Think im going down the 1340 route, ive got a couple of engines ive bought over the years but will strip them to see what spec and how good they are. Got to pull my finger out as my first event is mid march
