Very nice a MK2 look, are you going to use the MK2 rear lights? I love them, I have them as well :)

decided to brush paint the inside as im not one for concours lol, hasnt turned out too bad

yep got mark 2 lights ready to go on after paint....

The paint i used was some aldi had on offer, great coverage and shine

Yes a lot cheaper at the time though it was towards the beginning of the year when I got it .
Couple more of what I've been up to. Finished seam welding the drivers side and have moved the whole car over to one side in the garage so I can finish the passenger side footwell and then a new sill

Well I finished the floor by welding in the cage mounts

then attacked the outer sill to see what horrors lurked , but it's looking pretty good in there so far just a small patch of rot to sort

Right caught up on fitting the new sill, I repaired the inner sill and have fitted the new outer one
I plug welded the sill into place first

Then seam welded it all round, then cleaned up with a flap disc though in this pic it's not totally finished and still looks rough
