Standard height Gaz adjustables ....3 or 4 clicks from softest seems to work for me. Red dot cones front, standard at the back.

Have had KYB's before though and they seemed quite good but not really firm enough and got heaps of body roll....but that was on my first mini and i was 18 so probably drove like a pratt! Plus the cones were probably shot!

Well getting them at cost does help things lol. Plus all the doughnuts will be new so all should be good

new crank in!!

ok here goes
1275 block +60 pistons(i think it makes it 1330), kent 276 cam,new crank, recon gearbox with 3.44 minispares evolution diff. Stage 3 minisport head with 1.5 roller rockers(not sure on these though).duplex timing chain, maniflow twin box system
Havent decided on carbs wether to go for hif44 or down the twin carb route................

I've been trying to make my mind up whether to have twin carbs too...Think I will end up going for the single hif44, less hassle. By the way, great build :-)

Thanks guys, i had bought some 1/1/4 twin carbs but think i will fit the hif44 and look out for some 1 1/2s

Ok working hard to get the car finished before himley hall
Finished building the clutch cover and fitted it to the engine

Then made a coil bracket so I can fit the pair of coils. It's made from alloy at the moment though I may upgrade it to steel once the engine is in place

And build up the radiator brackets ready to fit

Beautiful work again! But it's so annoying seeing pictures like this & then going out to look at ours...!! (although I don't know if it's actually annoying or depressing...!!) :D
