Managed to get a night on the mini, forgot what a pain it is to remove the cage out of my old car!!
Anyway its out and in the new one

No, the mini i took them out of had and was a pig to get out. Without the bins it just sat into place

last nights work, drilled and bolted in

Havent done alot this week apart from making some spreader plates to put on the outside of the rollcage bolts. And cleaned up the front part of the cage ready to fit in. Will post some pics later

I'm currently on holiday, so time to update the build.
Here's we're I had got up to
Got the front windscreen in

Had problems with the rear quarter lights being the wrong size but they should be ready by the time I'm back

Then fitted my new steering wheel and bolted in the dash boards

Looking good, will be an absolute stunner when finished. I might have to burn the midnight oil and work on mine tonight!

Hi, nice mini you have there! I have same logo on the bonnet, what is meaning of that? I,m new all this mini thing and dont know much. Probably because in finnish ;)

The bonnet badge was fitted to the mark 2 austin minis only, I believe the morris ones where white In colour

The stopwatch is actually a smiths pocket watch so I'm using it as a car clock but needs winding everyday , the holder I made

Back of holiday and back on the job!
Thought i would show you the difference between normal H4 headlamps and Wipac freeforms, as you can see the reflectors look totally different

Anyway i prefer the freeforms as they give out far better light
