Halfords do list parts for the real Mini, but not as Mini. Only the BMW Mini is made by a company called Mini (a seperate part of BMW's world), the real Mini was made by Rover (lately) and so that's what it's listed under.
When you buy wiper blades they normally come with a bag of fittings for the arm connection as there are about four different types. Unless you got the stoopid Halfords 'direct replacement, already built, idiot proof' type as these are normally wrong. Halfords hate to admit that there are change dates on cars and just decide what parts fit what years on their own.

Right - continuing on from this very boring saga!
The new ones I've got are defo not the right ones, and as Dan has pointed out about different fittings - I never got a choice of fittings with my new blades. So can anyone tell me what ones I actually need and where can I get them from. I've not got my reciept or box to take these C**p ones back to Halfrauds either - grrr!!
I took the old connecters off and tried to fit them to the new blades but the new blades latch bar is too small so they don't clip on. I have attached pics to try to explain.
This is just so annoying - this is just a minor diy job and its turning out to be so much hassle. I beginning to think a good mechanic I will not make!
