Finally managed to build up the suspension (tempory) to check clearance. Found I had about an inch clearance when on full lock and the top arms on the bump stops which ain't bad but I moved the alternator a bit to give even more room which will allow fitment under arch liners.

All new front suspension bushes & bearings/pins ordered. Just need to decide which minitastic springs I want

Thanks :) not in a huge rush atm might be done by Xmas, problem is I can only spend 2/3 hours on it a week

Managed to get an hour in earlier so I knocked up a coil pack bracket that will also act as a blanking plate for the dizzy hole.

Still need to round the corners and dress the edges but that's quick and simple

I see uve polished the Nissan off the rocker cover! is that to keep people guessing, i quite fancy knocking up a carb manifold to take a pair of su's to see what that looks like.

No real progress other than fitting new bushes and pins to the upper arms and ordering an idler pully.

Looking good lawson, how've you been? I'd say if you want to use it often then go for the fast road springs, but if it's track action you're after then go for the race springs. I'd call minitastic first though to have a chat with them about it.

I'm good thanks, got a new job new house etc so I get hardly any mini time now :(

Suspension wise, I just could not decide and the micra engine being lighter it would change rates etc so in the end I decided it was a lot of money to spend and get wrong so I've opted for red dot cones and hi-lo's all round might upgrade the dampers at a later date for adjustable jobbies
