hi,
Can I ask, i see your doing a vtec conversion as well. Between the micra and Vtec engine in a mini is there much 'space' between them?

I've decided on a micra conversion but I'm struggling to find any cheap 1.3 in the area.

So I bought some flanges
After some cutting and lining everything up they where welded on
Hopefully this will now be a lot more solid

Also treated it to some heatshrink to help protect it.
Rear frame etc is all bolted back up, hopefully I'll carry on with the injection set up soon.

Bassicly the later 1.0 box and the 1.3 box share the same Case, CV joints and shafts.

I asked on MSC and frank says I'll have to use half mini shafts n half micra but I don't really want to do this as they are a different diameter
If you could help me figure this out I'd be grateful!
