Pretty much answered it :) but I also looked at port spacing.

My engine is 1330 wich if I remember brings max rpm to 8.7 not that I'm ever going to hit that.

unless you have some pretty special internals =}

picked up my new manifold  today

 

 

and discovered the silicone hose I used previously has enough stretch in it to fit over the ITB's, which will save me time and money sourcing silicone reducers  :)

Last show of the year that I'll be attending is castle combe at the end of the month also its pay day, so straight after the show I'll be ordering the megasquirt ecu :)

I'm hoping it won't take long before its all set up. In preparation I've started to port the manifold and open it up to match the cylinder head.

Was a bit bored tonight so I thought I'd give the throttle bodies a dip in the ultrasonic cleaner before they get fitted

Broken down into component parts

Woke up this morning to discover some mindless ( family forum so won't swear) people went up the street kicking cars. My mini and 4 others have sizable dents

awww no! what absolute mindless ******* ive had my mk1 metro vandalised know how you feel on the upside it do sent look like its broken the paint so some one like dent master may be able so pull it out  with out repainting the wing its amazing what they can do!

The paint hasn't broken but there's some deep scratches from the grit on the shoe. It tucked up in the garage now, I'm giving it a few days for me to calm down before I touch it.

Nope no updates, its done a fair few thousand miles now with no issues so not had reason to touch it. I'm still planning on converting to injection with the ITB's buts its a matter of time money and I dont have much of either recently.

Fair doo's, what's it rev to with ITB'S? How hard was the loom to put in?

Would not have thought it would rev much more than the bike carbs, the limiter is set to 7k anyway.

I didnt install any loom I already had the Megajolt in the mini. So it was a case of moving the trigger wheel to the micra engine and fitting the carbs.
