@ fuzzy-hair-man, i checked the partnumbers for you today, and then contacted the nissan motor parts centre in Amsterdam about info on these numbers.
Here in western-europe these parts were fitted to N13 sunny's(pulsars in australia) with a CD17 engine. Unfortunately, here, they are no longer available new.
the correct numbers are 38101-50A03 for the crown wheel and 32241-51A03 or 32241-59Y13 for the mainshaft/pinion, the latter being the last known partnumber.
The other two numbers are not known in their computer, but it is likely they are the same spec, but fitted to a gearbox or model that we don't have in europe. or like you say the first number discontinued and replaced by the second, although no info was found on that.

Not sure about the 1.3 as I run a 1.0 but I got around the 42mpg mark on a 100 mile run along some twisty A roads and didnt really drop below 55mph

Thanks, MiniNissan that great! Nissan dealer here knows nothing but another dealer could get me a price on the final gear/crown wheel..... weird.
Were you able to verify the gearing?

I found this in our workshop manual, altough it is in dutch, you can see the gear-ratios of the K11 and N13 box.

"overbrengingsverhouding" means gear-ratio and "eindoverbrenging" means final drive.
Not much differrence between the two.

That N13 PDF has the CD17 diff at 3,789, and the Micra at 3.895 as we already know, I've not worked out the difference, but it is an awful lot of expense and work for such a tiny difference as you say.

I agree, if you already have the cg13 gearbox, i dont think it not worth the effort.
But like i said yesterday, chances are, that in other parts of the world a 3.55 final drive was fitted. unfortunately they are not mentioned in the manual. Maybe in the N12/B11, but the manual of those seems to be MIA.

I don't think it's worth putting in a 3.789 but a 3.55 seems to make quite some difference, a bigger difference than going to low profile 13's from 10's. I'm still deciding whether I'll do it depending on how much it costs to get parts.
When I graph the revs the standard diff in 5th is about half way between 4th and 5th on the 3.55 diff, so in one way you're gaining an extra 1/2 a gear, the Micra boys are looking at taller than standard diff ratios to make highway cruisers and the 3.55 only just brings the 10" mini up to similar revs to standard...
L_Jonez we're kind of polluting your thread here, if you like we could probably take it elsewhere...

the more ive drove mine this year the more i think i'll stick with the standard box. i like the acceleration and cruising between 70 and 80 is quick enough

same here, i think the main problem is im used to driving a diesel 200-odd miles a day so rarely pass 3k rpm plus the bike carbs make everything very loud

i run the higher 4.6:1 final drive which make it worse BUT hopefully the box with the 3.8:1 will go in soon, just witing for a chance to actually assemble the engine
