Dash Rail Ideas

Right finally got round to taking the dash rail off so now I'm after ideas please?
I wanted to know if anyone has just painted the frame behind the rail and nice the dash switch panel into it somehow or if there's a paint to cover the dash rails, stuff like that please and pics appreaciated

I put a headunit in mine then vinyl coated it;

It still needs tidying up a little bit though...

I would recommend vinyl coating it instead of painting as it's quite easy and cheap to do.

Im going to flock mine, iv not seen it done before but i think it will look good.

Like them ideas guys, is the vinyl easy to fit on without creaseing.
Keep ideas coming everyone ,still want to know if there's s paint you can get to cover dash rails?

Very easy, all you have to do is glue behind it then stretch it then once the glue has stuck, then lightly heat it to "relax" the material which'll also remove any stretch marks. :)

I recovered my top and bottom dash rails in thin foam and then used suede over the top, I think it came out ok------>Posted Image
But if you are looking to paint them Halfords do a Vinyl paint that works well

These look grate how much did it cost and does the suade/flock get damaged when you install the dash?
