If it's sat that long I would probably be ditching the oil that was in there and replace with new and new filter.
Take out the oil pressure relief valve and clean it, inspect it for damage etc.
The oil pump could have drained if sat for that long, so prime the oil pump and then spin the engine over without the plugs in and see if you get oil pressure.

Especially considering they are the same basic essential warning lamps that all cars have and you are supposed to know what they mean before you can pass a driving test. The standard oil warning comes on at 7 psi, at that pressure there is already damage being done.


Got in the o/h's car recently, "how long has the brake light on the dash been lit up?"
"Oh, a few weeks" she tells me...

Pads down to the metal and rear disks ruined...
