So I missed Bingley due to suffering a stinking hangover! Getting to old for heavy drinking I think now...
So just spanked the £200 I had saved at minispares on parts.
I've got a few hours on Saturday so hopefully I can get some stuff done.
Aiming to try and start her at the end of the month.
fingers crossed.

I think it's best not to look but it's hard sometimes.
Going over tomorrow night and have all day Saturday while the other half is at work.

A few more hours faffing around with the tank on Saturday. The new MPI filler neck rubber worked wonders!!!
The tanks now in and not coming out again that's for sure!
Need to touch up the surround as it fell out and chipped...
Number plate bracket and the windows to go but the backs almost finished.
New rear handle. I dropped two new nuts into the bottom of the door though trying to get them on!
Manifold, Inlet and carb on. Need to cut the centre pipe down to fit the LCB though.
Put the brake master pipes on and the earth strap. Not sure where to put the strap on the engine at the moment.
I also bought a braided transfer pipe but manage to order the wrong union size. The fan belt I ordered was the wrong one too so I will have to get new ones.

Looking good. Not long now before she lives.
Added the MPi filler neck seal to the shopping list, what gasket did you use on the bottom of the neck and did you use any sealer?
I would have spent hours on these break pipes with my mini pipe benders. I'm a little OCD on pipes due to being a fridge Geek.

Cheers Frosty.
Still need a few bits for the engine before I try to fire it up.
Just the standard foam ring from minispares, I had to cut it to get it in as it wouldn't fit attached. It's plugged most of the hole but I think I'll build a little MDF box to close the neck off.
