I'm thinking about doing the same and doing it myself.
Shirely its just a case of un picking the original seat covers and using that as a template on the new fabric and sewing back together.
I've had to sit through 2 series of 'The Great British Sewing Bee' so what could go wrong! lol

Might give it a go then.
You don't happen to know how much fabric one would need to recover a seat do you?

Well no progress has been made over the last few weeks due to being to busy and on holiday.
Just trying to get some money together for the next parts order at the moment.
Although I did purchase this while at the car boot on sunday.
Will look good on the roof rack with a couple of suitcases I already have.

If we go again this weekend and he has some left I'll get you one if you like Marc.
I paid a £10 for this one and he had others, some with and without the esso markings though.

I've not touched the van for a couple weeks now. Just been trying to gather some more parts together for the next session.
Not a lot I can do without the parts now. Not like with the welding whereby you can just do a bit hear and there, it relies on having to money to pay the parts now.
Just had a week in the south of france which about crippled me! lol
Saw loads of these though... Next project I think!
Wouldn't mind this pair either one day.
