Right then.... Pictures!
Thankfully my cousin was on hand to help out and also brought his engine crane. I was going to try and man handle the lump in so after some amount of faffing to get the engine mounts to line up we were great full for the lift.
Started by striping the front down.

You can never have to bigger tools! This cranes normally used to take Land Rover engines out and has a 2 tonne pay load. It was a bloody beast of a thing! Just moving it around on it's own was a feet in itself.

It took some rocking, jiggling, swearing and head scratching but SAL finally has a heart... For the first time in 12 years!


All back together. The bonnet needs adjusting but I'm sure it will need to come off again so didn't bother aligning it fully.

Massive day though and really feels to have moved on.
