Few new parts arrived this morning. 

 

 

Both rear door rubbers, oil pressure spring, ball, washer & nut, front door gaskets and a couple carb gaskets. 

 

Now just need to find the time to try and fit them.

I find that these small parts lists soon add up in cost, £60 here, £30 there, £90 here £80 there !!, I've just got over the initial shock after completing the Van build, I also thought that i had most things for the Vans completion but the amount of times i found myself flying up to Minispares and ordering bits and pieces over the net was crazy !! 

I've already started buying panels/parts for the project that i have lined up to do after I've completed the next one lol

Your tell me mate that little lot cost 60notes! luckily I got a £50 voucher for Christmas off the family so less discount only cost me £8... Phew

 

Hoping that I can also talk the family into a 'getting the van painted pot' for my Birthday in April.... Every little bit helps! Although it's taken me that long to do it I think most of my family owns a small part of it over the years buying parts for Christmas and Birthdays.

So my door fitting quest continues!!!! fit, bash, fit, bash and repeat.... 

 

The drivers door is getting there but still not quite right.

 

 

 

 

This means I've had to push back getting it painted till the end of March.

 

In other news.... The engine is pretty much complete now just the alternator and oil cooler to plumb in. 

 

Fitted a cooper style oil pressure ball and spring.

 

As it stands.

Yep you've got an A series bracket fitted to a A+ Block.
