Right now I've managed to work out why Google Chrome wasn't letting me sign in I can update from the weekend.
Just a couple of hours on Saturday while the good lady was at work.
Plan was to get the X member welded in. Ran out of Gas after 2 plug welds!
Broke out the lecky welder out and tried with that.... My god it ******* compared to gas... duly chucked it in the bin.
Had to extend the rear quarter repair panel as it wasn't tall enough. Hind sight probably shouldn't have bother to do this first, would have had enough gas to do the X member then.
With that moved onto a few other bits.
Got a head mounting kit so put some nice new studs in the head.
crank locking tab and nut
Connected the front and rear brake pipes the splitter thingy ma bob. Might do the rear pipe again though as it's a bit messy.
Played around with the front panel some more. Think I've just about go the bonnet pins in the right place so tightened the nuts up. The front panels
held on nicely.
This will be all you can see once it's finished.

Things might slow up a bit again now though as I'm skint at the moment and can't justify the £75 to refill the welder bottle.

Yeah that's what it cost me at BOC Leicester last time I got it exchanged Ben.
Must admit though it is a pretty large bottle.

Just looking at gusset closing panels.
At 14 quid a pop how easy are they to make?
No progress at the moment but the misses goes away with the girls for a week this weekend so hopefully crack on next week.
