So the front ends just arrived Yipee.... Sliced my finger getting the front panel out the box though!
Front panel really is a thing of beauty.
Offering the wings to the front panel though does seem that one or the other will need some slight profiling to get the fit better. Nothing a bit of pushing and pulling will sort out though.
Nearside step and rear quarter.
All together now

If doing a removeable frontend, do i still use the teardrops on the front panel?
I plan to mount the panel on bonnet pins using the hole in the front of the panel.

is that front panel M-machine?
Love their stuff!
It has that look of being hand made and not mass produced. Lovely!

I dread to think Garry... The snagging list is as long as the to do list it seams.
Really need to finish of some bits before starting any more.
X-member needs welding in
Inner sill where it meets the toe board needs a tidy
All floor welds on the inside need dressing
heal board / load bed needs plug welds dressing
load bed needs a few of the larger dents bashing out
nearside A panel needs to come off to replace the door step and A panel needs to go back on
nearside rear quarter needs doing again
off side A panel needs fixing on
Front end needs welding with fixings for removable front then priming
That's before getting anywhere near starting the bodywork prep.....
Then it's engine and wiring install, brakes and clutch bleeding, fitting interior (which I haven't got yet, wheels need tyres....... so on and so on.
The end of July and IMM is looking increasingly optimistic!!!!
