Cheers Hoody I'll give that a whirl.
I could probably do with getting a better gun and all really. Just using the one that came in the kit with the compressor.
I'm no expert, but I've been using HVLP spray guns; about £15 each on ebay.

Be careful with cheap guns though. I resprayed a Corsa C with a cheap £20 eBay gun and halfway through, paint started dripping from the collar that screws on to hold the nozzle and ruined the finish. Then had to wait, flat down and start again! The same happened on the lacquer coat so needless to say it went straight in the bin!! Might have just been a rough one though.
Thought it was worth mentioning after all the work you have put in to this.

I'm in the same position ! No work done to van and the daily mini dropped a valve. Been looking at vw caddys!
