More done today 90% solid floor now.

After some welding i couldnt make noise with the grinder to do the sill so moved onto some shiny bits.

Inner sill is in just need to finish it off.

What came out.

Need to tidy up the toe board a bit and weld up the gap between the floor and pan.

Much like the other side it was a nasty patchwork quilt so at least now it will look neater.

Also fast running out of gas with both sills and the cross member to go in yet.

There's a vid on YouTube on how to rebuild the box don't know if it will help with the stripping down but surly its just the revers of assembly lol

I have watched Guessworks video on thetube on how to rebuild the box and it just shows him knocking it in.

 

So I thought it would just be the case of knocking it out but it's not moving one bit!!! I need to fit the Centre Oil Pickup pipe you see.

 

Perhaps the illness I've had the past few days has weakened me and I just wasn't hitting it hard enough.

 

I doubt its been out since the gearbox was built.
