Subframe mount is going nowhere now! never going to let water in like before when it was just spot welded.

Cheers Marc.
Next step is to cut the rest of the floor out ready for the new panel.
Be interesting to see what lurks underneath that over panel.

Of cause there will be hoody that's the way this game rolls.
Not going to get any more time on it this week. Just waiting on some cash to come in from ebay and hopefully order the floor from M-Machine on Monday.
I was going to do one big order and get all the front end panels to save on the postage but I'll be next year by the time I can afford that at the moment.
Hopefully santee will be kind a buy me a wing or a bonnet or something.

Passenger side rear quarter ordered from M-Machine and should arrive by Wednesday.
Hopefully get the floor and oversill cut out tomorrow after work in readiness for fitting the floor on Saturday.
Then give the underneath a quick blast with the paint / rust remover wheel and it should be ready for some stone chip.
Theeeeeennnnnn it should be ready to get it back on its wheels.

Hi Matt SAL is now really coming on mate.
Out of interest have you kept a book on the material costs? I made a spreadsheet of all my purchases and did not include any tools or hire of kit, I sold some bits n bobs off my van (steering wheel, seats etc) and deducted them from the final cost.
It is staggering how much it costs in parts alone to restore a van, you can see why vans fetch so much spondoolics!
Keep going, keep going, just think each job you complete is another stage done!
Cheers

Yes I do have a spreadsheet of associated costs of the build bar consumables I.E. cutting discs and sanding pads stuff like that. Although I need to update it, I don't look at it all that often either as it scares me sometimes!!!! haha. Although, if you think about it, over the years it doesn't work out to that much per year. (well that's what I keep telling myself!)
