I've just remembered that I tried to take the pedals out over the weekend to clean them up and snapped one of the shear bolts off.
How the hell am I meant to get the bolt out now its sheared off!
Cut it?

did it have its hex head still on it that was supposed to shear off when it was first put in?? just cut a slot into it and use a flat head screw driver

Or if its in tight and its possible to do so without damaging anything, you could weld a nut or bolt onto the remains of the bolt and get a spanner on it.

Yep both still had the hex head on the end before I started to take one off. So now one has the head on and the other just has a dome where the head snapped.
Will try and get the grinder in and slot the dome failing that I'll try weld a bolt/nut to it.
So when I come to put the pedals back in your meant to tighten the bolt up until it shears off?

providing that its a shear bolt then yes but i'd just use a standard bolt and nyloc nut
