Right then so here goes the last couple of days.

This is how we started in Monday morning.

Starting to take the over sill off.

Came across my friend patchy yet again.

Cut the sill repair in.

Offering up the new sill. This incurred some head scratching how to sort out the toe board.

Fit looks ok at the back.

After a few coffees decided that the best course of action was to chop some more out and replace. Quite happy with how it looks, massive improvement over what was there before.

Tuesday's attention turned to the heal board. I was having trouble getting the grinder in so had to make some room.

Soon enough a large hole appeared.

Near side rear floor looks somewhat interesting.

Starting the think the van might actually be an onion.

Leads us onto today, only managed 2 hours as it was so hot in the garage that my safety glasses kept seaming up!

Decided that the floor is far to patched and rotted for my liking. So to aid getting the old heal board off I started to cut back the floor to get more room.

Peeled this patch back to find a slightly smaller one underneath.

And where I left it.

Its only the underside that hasn't been stripped Chris the rest I did by hand and has now been etch primed.

So getting it dipped at this stage would mean all that hard work for nothing.

At this rate I will have cut most of the floor out anyway and it will be new metal.

So I reckon it would be spending money for moneys sake.

The 'onion' post seems very apt Matt.

try a thin film of 3in1 on your goggles, find this helps prevent the steaming :D

Sunday 15th is Stanford Hall show. Think you might make it there? Your celebrity status, may help numbers LOL
