the sandwich van lol, my pick up was not much better, and the van we wont go into.

No progress but an update that i think might help speed things up a bit.

My mate is kindly lending me his gas welder as long as i get the bottle exchanged. Using a cheapo beginners gasless job at the mo and its annoying me as im sure it doesn't work as it should. It keeps just blowing holes in everything as i can't limit the power only the speed.

Benefit of using my mates is he is also a welder by trade and has said he will show me how to set it up and perfect my skills.

Running parallel, current status of the 3 vans in our club (not boasting at all) ...

the German lhd one bust its head gasket but is back on the road;

the other red one is awaiting an engine swap;

the yellow one is still being welded and will be something like old English white but in a tractor paint because it's cheaper

Since the same guy is doing all 3 it's taking a while.

Ah tractor paint love it to bits. you just need to let it dry for a few weeks before turning it to a mirror finish.

Need to tidy the inner door frame.


Think it might need a new inner sill at the front of the cross member.

I've been having nightmares about the near side ever since buying the genuine sills!!!!!!!

 

At least doing this side should make the other side easier as I'll know what to do then.
