Matt if you are going to buy from Somerfords you will need item 49 in "front floor panels" then choose either the four flute or six flute sill depending on the age of your van.

Sorry if this sounds like we are getting on your case but at least you will know its been done properly. You have put so much effort and time into your beastie and it deserves some proper sills.

take a look at the photos on mine..oversils trap the water in and rot it all..the flutes on the proper sills let it out..

Damn you all thought i was done spending money on panels!!! :( i do hear what you guys are saying though.

I think i might end up have to replace the hole healboard also. Its well and truely knackered on either side. Probably easier to weld a new one in than try getting repair panels to fit and line up.

Mate it will be for the best. The heelboard as well either get a Heritage complete item or their halve panels. Be wary of the pattern ones. Some are very very poor.

The pattern one's are terrible, last time I needed to do heelboard end repairs I made my own panel from 1.2mm sheet and used a reinforcer from M.Machine that comes with the captive nuts welded on ready, they are only £4 so not really worth making them

Full heelboard from M.Machine are £59 any good? their panels have been pretty good the ones ive got so far.

Looks like that and 2 outer sills will come to about 100 notes which I don't think I can afford this month. Can I carry on with the floor or should I wait till I've got the heelboard?

Few more pics for you.

As you can see the heelboards been patched before and not very well, which is why I think I might as well just rip all off!

Heelboard sits over the floor so I'd do the floor first personally
