Just musing for a moment while on lunch yesterday doodling on some paper about switch panels.
For MOT purposes what switches need to be on the dash of a 1982 Van?

I remember that the panel had 4-5 switches but cannot remember what the hell they were.

Standard Mini is:
Choke, Lights, heater rear window, brake check, hazards, Heater.
You obviously won't have the heater rear window...

Does the flange on the new floor panel, where it attachs to the heelboard, go on the inside or outside of the herlboard panel?

Will drilling some hole in the heelboard and spot weld it do then?

Going ok so far just shaving the new panel down to fit atm.
Grind a bit, try it, grind a bit, try it and so on.

Matt you really need to lose those oversills. I know we keep banging on about it but it will be for the best bud. You haven't cut the inner sill sections off the replacement floor pan yet???
