Just musing for a moment while on lunch yesterday doodling on some paper about switch panels.

For MOT purposes what switches need to be on the dash of a 1982 Van?

I remember that the panel had 4-5 switches but cannot remember what the hell they were.

Standard Mini is:

Choke, Lights, heater rear window, brake check, hazards, Heater.

You obviously won't have the heater rear window...

Next question.

Does the flange on the new floor panel, where it attachs to the heelboard, go on the inside or outside of the herlboard panel?

Looking good! Keep on cutting and trying it for size until it fits. Remember if a gap is to tight once you start welding it in you can always run the 1mm cutting disc Along it to make it right again. Better to be tight ;) bigger gaps are harder to bridge lol!

Matt you really need to lose those oversills. I know we keep banging on about it but it will be for the best bud. You haven't cut the inner sill sections off the replacement floor pan yet???

I must admit I have to keep resisting the urge to repeat this every time I see a picture of them in this thread but I agree completely, they need to go
