I think that would do it your right.

Without measuring I'd say its about 10-15mm at its widest.

Well been battling with the A panel again today. The fit is getting better but I now think i might have to bite the bullett and get a new step that goes half way up the door frame. I just dont think im going to be able to get the door frame to look right.

You cutting the whole floor out now then ? Or just parts? The more work you do on yours gives me motivation to get on with mine!

Think your further ahead than me at the moment! I need to catch up!

Its a M-Machine van rear half floor that is actually about 3/4s long and ends at the middle of the x-member it seems.

Managed to have a look at the pictures Ryan did for me of his van's A panel.

As you can see the door frame flange on mine it quite butchered. I feel this might be the reason the outer A panel isn't lining up with inner.

Mine.

Damn you! not the answer I was looking for.

Think I'm going to leave this section for the time being. I'll carry on with the floor / heel sections and will come back to it when the vans the right way up again.

Also wanted to ask how people weld the seams without a joggler?

I'm a bit tight at the moment and dont fancy dropping 40notes on one.

dam that looks scarey..bringing back the nightmares again

have to admit i didn't seem mine..i went with a 5/10mm overlap on the tunnel edge and welded both sides..i've been useing pop rivets and bolts to hold things in place while i weld it...maybe not the best way of doing things but it's worked for me so far...
