I’ve just read through your whole thread, yes that’s right, from page 1! It’s very clear to see your development with your welding and mechanical skills. Was actually quite interesting.
All the best with your retest, it’s certainly been an interesting thread to read and the finishing line is very much in sight!

Tester failed it again on pretty much the same things even though brand new parts but this time added a few other fails in they didnt last time!!! Boils my p*ss!!!! Will not be taking it back there again.
Its seems now its done 12 miles. Its also acquired an oil leak from the read main oil seal!!!!
If i had a garage i would be self isolating in it with Sal.

Think worrying me is the rear main seal oil leak... this is the seal on the flywheel crank side which I’m sure will mean that the bell housing and primary gears will need to come off?
If so... maybe time for straight cut primary gears???? Lol

where exactly is the oil leaking from ?

Clutch oil seal maybe not seated as the clutch was slipping when accelerating.

..engine out then
i'd think it unlikely the primary gear oil seal would be the primary cause - oil escaping past that seal would emerge from the vent/hole at the bottom of the flywheel housing
