There's rust there Andrew don't worry... rust of the worse kind... the kind you cannot see from the outside!

Still yet to do is:

Repair the heelboard.

Cut drivers rear floor pan out and replace.

Half maybe full cross member to weld in.

Repair the load deck door bolt hole.

Re-do rear quarters as I'm not happy with them.

Inspect and probably replace the passenger outer sill.

Prep and paint.

Really, really, really want to get this done now in time for my 29th Birthday in April! considering I purchased the van when I was 19 its seem like a good time to round the project off.... haha!

I think I'm going to copy you and chuck some nitromoors on my van bare metal seems the best way to ensure all rust is gone!

Yes Ryan i agree. Just beware that it takes ages to scrape off trust me. If i was to do it again, I would just use a 40 grit flap disc, its so much easier and quicker.

Bit more done to the rear door tonight. Welded in the top frame repair, ground it down and folded the new lip over i'd made.

Going well. Currently doing doors myself but I picked up a brand new rear for cheap recently.

Word of warning to anyone thing of re skinning their rear doors.......

It's a right pain in the cuff!!!!!!!!!!!

Combined with the fact that I cut the window step out wrong its not going so well for me at the moment :( can't seem to get the skin to line up.

I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow.

Just thought I'd let you guys know where I am, which at the moment seem to be very far away.

Been a bit quiet on the TMF and van front recently. What with christmas/new year being manic as always and the perpetual cold I've stayed out of the garage.

Although, the last few weeks I've been building some new work tops into the garage :proud:, finally I have some space to work on instead of trying to do everything on top of a dust bin.

Still lots to do so the schedule keeps getting put back need a burst of motivation again.

I can work in a messy environment, does my head in. Need to finish your Van if we're all going for a TMF Van drive this year!
