Rolled the old girl out the garage for a bit of sun today. And mainly as I needed to clear the garage up a bit before the house goes up for sale.
Sat her ticking over got 10-15 minutes to get up to temp and run in a bit. Noticed that the top hose was stone cold!!!! stuck my finger in the rad and yep that's cold too. So I'm guessing the rads blocked or the thermostat isnt opening.
I took some video of her ticking over but photobucket wont upload them for some reason.

PROGRESS....! well some anyway.
I've been really struggling to find the time with impending baby to get on the mini. But I had a friend over the weekend offer to help with the front loom and windscreen so it spurred me on a bit.
First time fitting a screen and wow that's a faff!!!! only took us about 3 hours.
Then moved onto bleeding the clutch and brake. But only got as far as bleeding the clutch to find that the clutch isn't working so not sure what's up there. The slave pistons moving but the pin isn't and feel like the clutch pin isn't returning as there no resistance in it what so ever it just move freely back and forth....????
So looks like the bell housing going to have to come off to investigate...
Hay Ho 3 and a half weeks till baby arrives!!!

I'm not sure, but it looks to me like the clutch arm is in backwards

I did wonder if the arm might be in the wrong way round?

..before you remove the bell housing, as well as checking the arm's the right way round, remove and the clutch arm and try and withdraw the release pin from the bell housing.
if it comes out, then you forgot to fit the release bearing (..or it fell off..)
..obviously you still have to take the housing off to fix it...

I also wonder this as the pin with the bolt on the end moves in and out quite freely... I would have thought this would have some tension to it?

..some free travel in the pin is quite normal - it's only when you have your foot on the clutch that the release bearing makes contact with the pressure plate

I’ve ordered a new release bearing just in case, should come in the week so planning to take a look at it this weekend.

...when you replaced the flywheel bolt, did you remember to put the clutch sleeve back on ?
