I hope to, by the end of the week, borrow a mates pipe bender to make the front up, thats where it gets a little more complex though, getting the right angles in the bends so it may take some time.
I've also started fitting my carbon dash, getting worried by how much material i have cut off so far, if anyone has ever fitted a curley 'switchpod' carbon dash and has any advice/pictures please let me know.
Might be driving to bradford tomorow to pick up some wheels for my dads new car so that may hinder progress a little.

I've had a couple of things happen to inspire me though, my brothers just bought a honda civic 1.4 8v which i took for a spin and its very quick so i need something equally as fast, plus i saw minis84 driving his to the mot station earlier this morning, i had to turn around and go and look at it even though i was meant to be going somewhere!
But i do need to find a new everyday car as my insurance runs out on monday, keep looking at bmw 318's, should be fairly good fun in wet weather!
Whos put that glittery signature on anyway?

I did look at an old 1988 3litre turbo supra but the insurance is twice as much as the beemer, figures really having twice the power, i could afford it but i dont know how long i'd be keeping it anyway.

I've welded up the original fuel filler hole and tidied up the new scuttle panel joins. My dad has done a good job of filling where the filler cap used to be, i'll get some pics soon. I'm struggling at the minute, i need a roll cage tube bender, my mate has one but doesnt seem to have the correct size adaptor for the 38mm o/d tube that i'm using so i'm stuck at the minute, need to bend up my front part of the roll cage!
I then only have to make the mounts up for the flip front and the shell should be ready for another sandblasting and painting!
