Nick my dear, i will be offering you a lap of the 'ring... maybe.

Insurance - its also going to be my second car (i hope), limited mileage, kept in garage etc etc so anything around £1000-1500 is ok.

I checked my insurance for the engine change,
and they said it doesnt make a difference if its front or rear,
and if i kept the engine standard it would be £135 on top of my current policy for the rest of the year (got over 6 months left) :-
mines going to be a daily driver to!!

Car's coming along really well!!

Noooooooooo! Whys everyone gotta get one!! LOL.

Got my front end today, very impressed, just wants tidying up around the edges as i expected, thankyou very much matt aka 16vminishop! I also had some stainless hinges for it, will have to see if they can be made to fit my subframe as they're designed for the standard frame but i'm sure it work out.

Only problem is, i now have a bedroom full of mini parts and a garage full of mini and i still have more parts to come!

that means that the bedroom parts in the bedroom have to be transfered to the garage full of mini, and from there on to said mini. what could be simpler? :D

If only it were that easy! Lol

Got some more bits today, shiny starter switch panel off ebay and some tow eyes, helmet hammock and fuel filter from demon tweeks.

Having problems welding at the minute as i ran out of welding wire, not a problem as i have a spare reel. Only thing being, i was using 0.8mm wire, my spare reel is 0.6mm and i dont have a 0.6mm tip for the gun! So every now and then it jams up and i have to rip the welder apart to refeed the wire and start again, hopefully tomorow i will have the time after work to go and get some new tips for it!

Got a battery tray and twin fuel pump mount from the same company i bought the tank from, great quality, would recommend them to anyone.

Been having wlder problems again, got some new tips last friday but it still keeps jamming up so its going to need a new gun, which i cant get until at least friday now due to work. I've also got a complete scuttle now, was going to just do the corner repairs but thought it'd be easier and neater to do the whole thing.

Time is running out!! Going to ask some favours to get some help with getting bits built up, such as suspension/engine etc so once i finish the shell its all ready to go on.
