The shell is now completely stripped, going to phone about getting it sandblasted at some point this week. I already have the metal to repair all the holes that i keep finding so hopefully i'll have a solid shell with roll cage welded in within a month then the rebuild really begins!
is this like a nick month or a real one ?

did u have to wait long for the allspeed kit??
i think it should be great having that sort of power and the reliability for that sort of money, in a mini.
good luck, and keep us updated with pics.

they might come in handy if i do decide to go that route.

Lol, it could end up being a nick month, we'll soon see!
I havent yet got the kit, i only live two minute down the road from allspeed so if i was desperate i could go and push him for it! I've been waiting a month now, will be rady in two weeks, i did say i was in no rush though as the shell has a fair bit of work left to do.

Sandblasters are being a pain in the arse! A few places won't blast my shell, saying they only do heavier more industrial stuff!
Will get a pic of the kit asap.

And these are the other bits of the kit, all engine mounts, modified clutch master, gear selector mount and bulkhead box for gear selector mech.

It does look very small in real life, i'm amazed the engine fits in it! It also weighs about the same as a standard mini subby so alltogether the weight of the car wont change dramatically.
